AZMUN 2023
The AZMUN 2023 conference will be from March 25-26 on the University of Arizona Campus
- MAKE SURE TO BRING POCKET MONEY FOR FOOD FOR 5 MEALS:

PAYMENT THROUGH BLACKBAUD FOR HOTEL AND TRANSPORTATION
- For delegates who have booked hotel accommodations and transportation through our club, the total payment will be about $375 (including AZMUN Delegate Fee)
- The cost of room per delegate at Marriott Tucson University Park is about $180 for two nights
- The cost of our transportation provider (chartered by BASIS) is about $125 per delegate
- The cost of the AZMUN delegate fee is $70
- For delegates who will be booking their own hotel accommodations and transportation, the total payment will be $70 for the AZMUN Delegate Fee
Hotel Accommodations
- For our hotel accommodations, we will be staying at Marriott University Park
- which is walkable distance to the conference
- Tucson Marriott University Park: 880 East 2nd Street, Tucson, Arizona 85719 USA
- Cost of Room: $209 per room per day (For two days)
- Room Assignments
- Group 1: Aiden, Purvansh, Sujay, and Jacob
- Group 2: Adi, Harshadh, Punarvash, and Shreyank
- Group 3: Saish and Yazan
- Group 4: Rohith, Mihir, Aaditya, and Skandan
- Group 5: Nila, Naimisha, and Perry
- The club members will be looked after by our Club Advisor Scott Olsen, our club leaders and chaperones.
- The Marriott Tucson University Park is about 5-10 minutes away walking from the AZMUN Conference, which takes place in the Social Studies Buildings
Transportation
- Our school booked a transportation van for our trip to AZMUN
- As said previously, the cost for transportation for each delegate is $125
- The van will pick us up at BASIS Scottsdale at 4:30 PM on Friday, March 25 and will reach Marriott University Park by 7:00 PM
- Once we reach our hotel, we will go to the restaurants nearby such as Chipotle, Panera Bread, etc.
- The AZMUN Conference starts early morning the very next day at 8:30 AM
- On March 26th, we will be picked up by our transport at 7:00 PM from the Marriott and will be dropped off by 9:30 PM if everything goes as planned!
Luggage and Suitcases and Attire
- Please pack as minimally as possible, with small bags and suitcases, for better fitting in the vans and rooms
- Please wear formal attire for the AZMUN Conference
- Also bring normal clothes when you are going for dinner apart from the AZMUN conference
- You will be able to keep your luggage with you at the hotels on March 24 and 25
- On March 26, when we check out of the hotel in the morning, the hotel has a specific place where we can store our luggage throughout the day
